The partnership will allow CheckMyBus’ users to tap into Omio’s extensive inventory of buses across 37 different countries, including in the US, empowering more travellers to have access to different international and local bus timetables and providers at the click of a button. CheckMyBus’ users will then be able to book their tickets directly on the Omio website.
Newly appointed VP of Partnerships at Omio, Tommaso del Re, commented on the partnership, saying: “At Omio, we’re focused on creating travel experiences that inspire, guide and delight. This partnership with CheckMyBus drives this mission; travellers can easily find and book long-distance buses that suit their needs so they can just kick back and enjoy the ride.”
Marc Hofmann, CEO at CheckMyBus said, “We are very excited about this partnership with Omio as it allows us to add even more benefit to our users, especially with Omio's intuitive and user-friendly booking process. Omio's extensive worldwide network of providers across train, bus, flight, ferry, and car, opens up more opportunities for our users to find the best partner within CheckMyBus to book their trip. We are looking forward to making bus and ground travel even more simple.”
